Common Arythmias

Atrial Fibrillation (AFib):
– Irregular, often rapid heartbeat
– Risk of stroke and heart failure
Tachycardia:
– Heart rate >100 bpm
– Can be supraventricular or ventricular

Bradycardia:
– Heart rate <60 bpm
– May cause dizziness, fainting, fatigue
Premature Beats (PACs/PVCs):
– Extra or skipped beats
– Often felt as “palpitations”

Ventricular Fibrillation (VFib):
Chaotic, ineffective contractions
Immediate CPR and defibrillation required
