The Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) is a term that is used to describe self-care activities that we perform on a normal daily basis. These include activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, etc. to name a few. Within the Healthcare Professional realm, the ability or inability to perform the Activities of Daily Living can be a measurement of a person’s function and independence.
